一、授权股权证明（dPoS）

传统的授权证明协议依靠代币持有者保护网络安全，但Ark却不同，它采用委托证明模型。持有代币最多的前51名负责网络的维护。他们巩固各区块，通过交易费和Ark分红的方式获取回报。但每个Ark持有者都有能力为代表投票，将自己的Ark数量赋予代表。然后，代表根据每个选民贡献的多少进行支付。于是，人人都可从PoS模式中受益。
51％的攻击实现起来要困难得多。在标准的股权证明模型中，如果一个用户购买51％的代币，他就能授权无效交易。但是按照Ark的协议，即使某一代表能获得51％的代币，但他仍只是51个代表中的其中一个。
